Bean’s Grant, NH

Bean’s Grant: This unincorporated town has very little road mileage, but it is home to AMC’s Mizpah Spring hut and to the summits of Mt. Webster, Mt. Jackson and Mt. Pierce.

The AT runs through Bean’s Grant from soon after it crosses US 302 in Crawford Notch to beyond the summit of Mt. Pierce (northbound). Most of the mileage of both Crawford Path and Edmand’s Path lie in Bean’s Grant.

Did you know? AMC’s Mizpah Spring hut is the newest site in their system, having been built in 1964. The building was designed to withstand hurricane force winds of 200 mph.
