Cutt’s Grant, NH


Cutt’s Grant: An unincorporated town with no residents, there are no roads in Cutt’s Grant and it lies in the White Mountain National Forest Dry River Wilderness.

Dry River Trail runs through Cutt’s Grant, and from that trail access to the AT is possible by following Mt. Clinton Trail, Dry River Cutoff, Mt. Eisenhower Trail or by continuing on Dry River Trail until it intersects with the AT near Lakes of the Clouds hut (in Sargent’s Purchase). Dry River Shelter #3 is located here as well.

Did you know? Dry River Trail was closed from 2011 to 2014 due to damage from Hurricane Irene.
