Hancock, MA

Hancock: The AT does not run through Hancock, and it is not on any major routes leading to the trail. Despite that, Hancock has some attractions and several lodging options that would warrant a side trip. The town has three restaurants, three motels, two campgrounds and two inns. It is also the southern terminus of the Taconic Crest Trail.

Hancock is best known for two attractions. Hancock Shaker Village on US 20 depicts the lifestyle and crafts of a Shaker community. In addition, Jiminy Peak Ski Area is very active during winter months.
