Landaff, NH

Landaff: A small town east of Bath and south of Lisbon, has very few businesses. However, the town is a link from the Kinsman Notch region to the west.

The southern third of Landaff is part of the White Mountain National Forest. The drive on NH Rte. 112 along the Wild Ammonoosuc River begins the transition from the Connecticut River Valley to the White Mountains.

Did you know? The original settlement of Landaff involved a land dispute between a group who were originally granted a charter by George III and Dartmouth College. The original settlers lost their charter, and Dartmouth College began to develop the area. After the Revolution, the settlers won in court and Dartmouth had to forfeit all of the buildings it had constructed.
