Shelter Description


Open-front, frame structure constructed by GMC Killington Section in 1969 and renovated by Killington Section volunteers in 2006; formerly known as Sunnyside Camp and renamed for Minerva Hinchey in tribute to her 22 years of service as GMC’s corresponding secretary (1955-1977). Maintained by GMC. Accommodates 8 at the shelter and 10 at tentsites. Privy. Water source is a spring 150 feet south.
