Rumney, NH


Rumney: A substantial town on New Hampshire 25 east of the AT, Rumney has four campgrounds, three restaurants and an inn/hostel. Rumney Rocks is popular with rock climbers.

While smaller than its neighbor Plymouth, Rumney has several businesses mostly along New Hampshire 25. Of particular note are a couple of pottery places and several antique shops. There are also four convenience stores in town.

Did you know? Some of the cliffs on Rattlesnake Mountain in Rumney Rocks are over 300 feet in height.
