Shelter Description

Log structure with a sliding door, front porch, and woodstove, constructed in 1983 by the GMC, USFS, and a work crew from the Rutland Community Correctional Center. Maintained by GMC and USFS. Accommodates 16 at the shelter and 10 at tentsites. Composting privy. Water source is a reliable piped box spring 100 feet to the right of the shelter.
