Sugar Hill, NH

Sugar Hill: Nestled between Franconia and Lisbon on NH Rte. 117, Sugar Hill has some of the most spectacular views of the White Mountains. A drive along Sunset Hill Rd. with its view of Franconia Ridge is well worth the time and effort. A number of inns are located on that road in case you want to stay longer.

Sugar Hill is west of the AT. The closest connections are either the trailheads in Franconia Notch or the Mt. Kinsman Trail off NH Rte. 116 in Easton. As noted above, there are several inns in town as well as a motel and three restaurants.

Did you know? Sugar Hill is the newest town in New Hampshire having split from the town of Lisbon in 1962.
